Tea Party with Mom and the girls

Hello everyone.  Right before my mom left last week, we had a tea party with the girls.  This was something that we had been planning this tea party for a very long time.  We kept it a secret....that was until my oldest, Kristy, figured out what we were doing.  I guess it was kind of obvious when I got my best tea set out and cleaned it.  It was a real fun time!  Below is the menu for that day.

Welcome to my love of tea

I grew up in a family that were tea drinkers and over the years, my love for tea has really grown.  Now that I am older, I have really become fond of collecting different tea sets.  I am always on the lookout for a new tea set.  Below is a tea set that I received for Christmas 2011 from my wonderful in-laws.  I really appreciate them giving me such a beautiful tea set.

I will post more pictures later of not only some of my other collections, but also a wonderful tea party that my daughters (Kristy and Abby), my mom, and I had while my mom was visiting in California.
