Hello everyone. Right before my mom left last week, we had a tea party with the girls. This was something that we had been planning this tea party for a very long time. We kept it a secret....that was until my oldest, Kristy, figured out what we were doing. I guess it was kind of obvious when I got my best tea set out and cleaned it. It was a real fun time! Below is the menu for that day.
~ Salmon Patte` sandwiches

~ Blueberry muffins with devonshire cream (got the recipe from http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Devonshire-Cream/Detail.aspx) and raspberry preserves that were bought at Avila Valley Barn (http://www.avilavalleybarn.com/)
~ Raspberry Truffles
~White Peach tea with milk and sugar

It was a special day for me too. I really enjoyed my self that day, well I enjoyed myself the whole time I was there. I am looking forward to taking the girls to the Tea Cozy when I come out again. When you and the girls are here I will have to see about the tea room down in Cheswick, maybe we can try that out or have a tea party her with the girls. Love your blog. Love Always Mom/Nana
